HOLISTIC MISSION: PENJANGKAUAN DI TENGAH WABAH COVID 19

Abstract

The great commission is a task that must be carried out by every disciple of Christ. In Matthew 28:19-20 it is emphasized that every disciple must go to make disciples of all nations of Christ and baptize them and teach them in the Word of God. God's work must be done while there is still time even though there are many challenges faced. Christianity must increasingly understand the main task entrusted to it to reach many souls for Christ. The example set by the Lord Jesus when he was still in the world is the benchmark for the service of believers.

This article seeks to present ideas and actions regarding Holistic Missions. Through this, it is hoped that we can revitalize mission projects in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in a more holistic manner. Apart from the biblical basis, the author also provides readers with a holistic mission model in the context of GBIS in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic."The author provides research data sources from the Bible, as well as books and journals that are relevant and support this research. The author will convey step by step, first: note down several expert opinions about Holistic Mission, then look for references from the Bible that support these opinions as well as books and journals that are relevant to the research that the author is conducting. Second, the author looks for references about the Covid-19 outbreak which has the impact of hampering soul outreach. Third, analyze the findings and fourth draw conclusions from the discussion. The data obtained from the literature study was analyzed in the form of a descriptive analysis study using a qualitative approach.
