Abstract

Abstract :

The church has lost focus on the main mission of Christ in the midst of a modern culture that tends to be secular and materialistic. Modern culture has brought many changes to human life, including in spiritual and religious aspects. In the Christian context, many churches and congregations today are influenced by modern values ​​and lifestyles which tend to be individualistic, materialistic and secular. As a result, Christ's true mission, namely loving God and others, is often forgotten or marginalized. This research aims to explore the forgotten mission of Christ in modern culture and its implications for today's congregation. By analyzing biblical texts, theological literature, and empirical data, this research will highlight the importance of returning to the essential mission of Christ and how the church can be an agent of transformation in modern society.
